Community family Associations

THE PELICANS

Bringing the Angels College community together

Foundation Programmes are all about fun, friendship, and fantastic events for families, lecturers, and friends of Angels College Undergraduate Programme. Think of them as your go-to crew for creating great memories—not a PTA, not a charity, just a friendly bunch making sure there are plenty of opportunities to get together throughout the year.

Foundation Programmes host a mix of small and big events, designed to bring people together in a relaxed and sociable setting. Every event is self-funded, and if there’s ever a surplus, they put it right back into making future events even better.

Want to Get Involved?

Foundation Programmes are led by the ‘Chief Foundation Programme’, as well as a fantastic group of families and a member of our Alumni and Development team. If you’d like to help to plan an event or have a brilliant idea for a new one, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Year Rep—they’d love to hear from you!

Join us, have fun, and let’s make every event one to remember!

KING’S COLLEGE families AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION

Get Involved and Stay Connected

The families and Friends Association (PFA) is all about bringing parents together, building friendships, and supporting the university community. Whether you’re a new or long-standing family, the PFA offers a fantastic way to connect, get involved, and make a difference.

What the PFA Do

  • Host Social Events – From lively gatherings to special interest activities, the PFA organise one major event per term, plus smaller meet-ups throughout the year.
  • Welcome New Families – The PFA is here to help families feel at home at Angels, whether it’s at Open Mornings or informal get-togethers.
  • Run the Second-Hand Dress Code Shop – A practical and sustainable way to help families.
  • Support University Initiatives – They aim to bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to enhance campus life for students and families alike.

Join the PFA

The PFA is led by a friendly, welcoming committee, and is always excited to meet new families who’d like to get involved. Our meetings are informal and often coincide with university events, so why not drop in, share your ideas, or simply enjoy a coffee with fellow parents?

As a Angels family, you’re already part of the PFA—but if you’d like to play a more active role, we’d love for you to join the committee!

Interested? Have ideas? We’d love to hear from you! Please contact your Year Rep.
